Erik Asgeirsson , President and CEO, CPA2Biz

Erik Asgeirsson was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of CPA2Biz in November of 2002, after holding key managerial positions at CPA2Biz since the fall of 2000. Previously, Erik held a variety of senior positions at AT&T in sales and operations. In his last role at AT&T, Mr. Asgeirsson was a Sales Director for the Business Services Division where he managed a market segment with revenues of over $100 million and oversaw the roll out of a number of new business services. Erik holds an MBA from The New York University Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University. Earlier in his career, Erik served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania.

 

Randy Johnston, M.C.S., M.C.P., Executive Vice President, K2 Enterprises

Randy is a nationally recognized educator, consultant, and writer with over 30 years experience in Strategic Technology Planning, Systems and Network Integration, Accounting Software Selection, Business Development and Management, Disaster Recovery and Contingency Planning, and Process Engineering. He helped start and run many businesses, and currently owns part of both Network Management Group, Inc. and K2 Enterprises. He is a regularly contributor to many accounting and technology journals, a featured speaker at many national accounting conferences, and is widely recognized for his expertise as one of Accounting Today's Top 100 Most Influencial People and Accounting Technology's top 10 technology professionals in the industry.

 

Jim Boomer, CPA.CITP, MBA, Chief Information Officer, Boomer Consulting, Inc.

Jim Boomer, CIO, is director of the Boomer Technology Circles™and an expert on managing technology within an accounting firm. He also serves as a strategic planning and technology consultant and firm adviser in the areas of performance and risk management. Jim was recently selected for the inaugural class of the KSCPA’s "20 Under 40” Leadership Program and was named to The CPA Technology Advisor’s "Forty Under Forty” list, published in the October 2008 issue. He is a member of the KSCPA and AICPA as well as the AICPA TECH+ Steering Committee.

James C. Bourke, Jr., CPA, CITP, is a Shareholder and Director at WithumSmith+Brown. Mr. Bourke serves on the AICPA's CITP Credential Committee and is the current chair of their State Society Reach Out Committee. He is an active board member of the New Jersey Technology Council and is currently the President of the NJSCPA. Mr. Bourke is a frequent author on CPA firm technology issues for our industry's trade publications and speaks at many state society conferences and seminars throughout the country on topics or current technology trends in CPA firms, as well as the specific technologies effecting our profession.

Rick is currently the owner, President and CEO of RAN ONE Americas, a world leader in helping accountants and other advisors build lucrative and rewarding business advisory practices. Alicia Olesinski, Founder and CEO of New Angle Marketing, LLC

Alicia Olesinski is founder and CEO of New Angle Marketing, LLC, a full solution marketing and practice development company dedicated to helping accounting firms differentiate themselves and generate new business opportunities. Michael Zumchak , Director of Training, Easy Excel Classes

Michael entered the world of finance working as a quantitative analyst for MotherRock LP, an energy hedge fund founded by former NYNEX president Bo Collins. While assisting with the development and maintenance of complex option pricing models, he developed a love and propensity for Excel and VBA programming. After spending years working as an Excel developer for dozens of clients in New York City, he developed a bullet-proof Excel curriculum that is currently being implemented by several Fortune 500 companies including TD Securities, UBS, and JP Morgan. For fun, Michael operates a recording studio in SOHO where he records and produces music.
